Sections of the Halachic rulings of the Roʺsh on tractate Yevamoth, Chapter 1 (section 7 until the middle of section 8).
Rabeinu Asher ben Yechiel, the Roʺsh (1250-1327) was known throughout the Jewish Diaspora, mainly thanks to his halachic rulings on many Talmudic tractates, which became accepted as one of the foundation stones for the halachot followed in every Jewish home.
This printing of his rulings on tractate Yevamot was copied some time in the 14th-15th centuries. Beautiful handwriting on paper. Rare. Slight damage to the edges of the pages.
A comparison of this manuscript and the print version reveals that a large section was added (at the end of section 7) that does not appear in the manuscript! The manuscript is also missing the division into sections that appear in the printed version.
Moderate condition with time damage. Incomplete with slight damage to text.
