Our Lady of Charity, also known as Our Lady of El Cobre is the patron of Cuba. The original image, which was found at sea to the north of Cuba’s Oriente Province more than 400 years ago, can now be found and worshipped at the El Cobre Basilica in Santiago de Cuba.
