Sokolov Petr Efimovich (1882-1964).
Painter. Landscape artist. In 1919 he graduated from the Second State Art Workshops, receiving the specialty of lithographic draftsman. In the same year, the department of fine arts of the People's Commissariat of Education sent him as a teacher to the Voronezh State Free Art Workshops, a department renamed VKHUTEMAS. Since the late 1910s, Pyotr Sokolov began to take part in regional, regional and Moscow art exhibitions. In the mid-1950s. P. Sokolov became members of the etching studio of I. Nivinsky, which existed until 1992. The works of Pyotr Efimovich Sokolov are in museums and private collections in Russia and Uzbekistan.
