Sergeev Nikolay Aleksandrovich (1855, Kharkov - 1929).
Since 1876 studied in St. Petersburg under L. Lagorio. Since late 1870-ies visited the Academy of Arts. In 1886 was awarded the big commendation medal of the Academy, since 1887 became its "Honorable community scholar". In 1910 was awarded the title of academician. Since 1878 became the most active member of art exhibitions initiated by the Academy of Arts, the St. Petersburg Society of Artists (founding member), the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions, and the Society of Russian Watercolorists. In 1910-ies was a leader of the Kuindzhi Society. Member of the All-Russian Artist Encouragement Society (since 1928 – his representative). In 1929 his post humorous exhibitions exhibition was held in Moscow. His paintings can be found in the State Russian Museum and many other museums of Russia and Ukraine.
