A designed certificate of appreciation for the Zionist activist BERNARD WINSTON WEINRONK for his activities in South Africa. Limerick [Ireland], c- 1900
A designed certificate - Cabinet photo format of appreciation for the Zionist activist BERNARD WINSTON WEINRONK for his activities in South Africa, Limerick [Ireland]. c- 1900.
The certificate depicts Bernard Winston Weinronk's public works with assistance to Zionist organizations in South Africa and palestine, signed by the heads of community in South Africa. At the top of the certificate is a picture of Bernard, on the right, the flag of the Zionist movement [in one of its initial versions] on a starry background, on the left, a Star of David in a circle with the caption 'Zion', an imaginary view of the temple before the destruction, and the exile of Babylon.
It is written that not only the community leaders appreciate his work, but also Theodor Herzl, the great leader, acknowledges them: 'We glad that not we alone recognized your good work but even our great leader Dr. herzl has done so by thanking you most heartily for you good work'.
