Rare Monetary Banknote with a Face Value of $100 Given from the Hand of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in 1988
This banknote was given by the Rebbe as a donation for the construction of a mikveh in London.
Written on the back of the banknote by its recipient: "$100 contribution from the Rebbe, shlit"a, for the cornerstone laying of the mikveh in London 14 Tammuz 1988."
Banknotes given by the Rebbe with face values of over $1 are extremely rare, especially $100 banknotes, which were generally used as direct donations for charitable purposes and were given by the Rebbe to his associates.
Fold mark, fine condition.
Pay Attention: VAT should be added to the commission for foreign residents as well.
