Greeting from Holy land with the compliments of the Palestine Brewery Ltd. Rishon le Zion - Rare postcard Folder published by Nesher beer, From the main days of the factory. Eretz Israel, c- 1930s. Very rare.

Four advertising postcards shows the Nesher beer production chain and captions praising the quality of the produce. The backs are divided for use as a postcard with the company logo - The Eagle. In one of the postcards we see a baby emerge from an eagle beer container with the caption: EAGLE BEER PALESTINE BREWERY LTD and A rhyming song in praise of the beer taste.

Nesher beer is the first beer produced industrially in Palestine. It exists from 1936. In 1934, Jacques Shapiro started the establishment of a Nesher beer factory, which was supported by the Rothschild family, PICA' and a Paris banking company led by Gaston Dreyfus, who founded "Palestine Brewery Ltd" or its Hebrew name "Beer Industry Ltd." "The brewery was established in Rishon Lezion near the winery which was also controlled by the Rothschild family. The beer marketing from the factory began in January 1936.
Alongside the alcoholic beer is also a malt eagle, a non-alcoholic black beer. Until 1987, the only black beer eagle sold in the country.
