“Torat Nazir” Salonika 1821, Gaon HaRav Meir Shapira of Lublin’s copy, generator of the Daf Yomi

A long and comprehensive method of study on Masechet Nazir with a long pamphlet of names for divorces, by the Gaon HaRav Avraham Motal, only edition. On the page before the title page is the stamp of ownership (two types of stamps) of the Gaon HaRav Meir Shapira of Lublin, the Av Beit Din of Pietrekov, and stamps throughout the book of the the publishing house of Yeshivat Hochmei Lublin. Meir Shapira (Maharam Shapira): 1887-1933, was one of the Rabbis of Poland and one of the heads of Agudat Yisrael before the Shoah, founded and was head of the Hochmei Lublin yeshiva and compiled the Daf Yomi. Bound with handsome, new leather binding with golden lettering, the copy is missing the title page and first page (filled in with photocopies). The rest is in excellence condition. Stains.
