Moron the Ketav Sofer wrote on the Gaon Rabbi Aharon Meir, these following words: " וזכורני כד הוינא טליא... וגדול אחד כתב עליו... הבן יקיר לי מפז ומפנינים, צעיר מאד בן תשע שנים, ילד שעשועים, עלם טוב רך ונעים, בחור נחמד חריף ושנון חרוץ מפורסם..."
