Pejsachówka, or more broadly pejsachowe liquors (most often plum brandy, but also kosher molasses vodka), in the years of the Second Polish Republic was created outside the State Spirit Monopoly in special pejsach distilleries. These distilleries were located, among others in the Lubelskie voivodship, but about 1/3 of the production was in the distillery M. Raizman and K. Kopelzon in Luboml (Volhynia Voivodship).

This company produced annually about 750-800 hl of spirit. Pejsachówka from Lubomel was kosher molasses vodka, bottled in 0.6-liter glass. Liqueurs, Żubrówka, and pure vodka were also produced here. The name of the vodka comes from the Jewish holiday Pesach (Passover), then it was eaten most often, it was said to taste the best in carp in Jewish style. A strong, dry drink, mainly made of plums, drunk in special pint-shaped glasses. Pejsachówka had a kosher certificate issued by the rabbi. Today, Luboml is in Ukraine, some 17 km from the Polish border.
