Mandate postal service wind-down - original Post Office notice: mimeographed 23 Feb 1948 notice PBN 2697 from the British General Post Office ( London) announcing the temporary suspension of Parcel post and Postal Orders for Palestine and Transjordan - this being the first and earliest step taken by the British to wind down the Mandate Postal Service in Palestine. Filing hole at upper left and piece missing adjacent to it, otherwise in mint condition.
