Siddur with prayers for the entire year including explanation of the words and proper intentions for mitzvos, all according to the writings of the Ar"i, compiled by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Ladi.

Included in the first part of this impressive copy is a greenish cover page which includes a notice from the grandchildren of the Baal HaTanya. There they describe the sequence of events leading to the sefer's publishing, and hardships they expect to arise before the completion of the printing. They also state that anyone who would like to order the sefer on regal paper should pay an additional half rubel.

Additionally, there is a letter from Rabbi Hillel of Paritch, disciple of the Baal Hatanya.

These additional covers are exceedingly rare.

The siddur was published in Zhitomir, 1863, by Rabbi Chananya Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschil Shapira, grandchildren of the Rabbi of Slavita.

Both parts are bound together with separate title pages, partially printed in red ink.
