Columns 5-6 of the present front-page reports from New York’s synagogues, detailing the sermons and services that mourned the death of President Lincoln. Provides detailed accounts of affairs conducted at “B'nai Israel, Bikur Cholim U-Kadisha and Shaari Zedek” in which each synagogue was draped in black.
