DUBOIS PAUL-ALEXIS: (1754-1796) French General who leaded the cavalry at Lambusart and Fleurus. Killed at the Roveredo battle. A good A.L.S., Alexis Dubois, one page, folio, Mons, 4th March 1796, in French. The document bears an attractive printed vignette to the heading and Dubois states in part `Citizen Henry Duroché, Captain of the 9th artillery regiment has forwarded to me a letter from the Minister of war authorizing him to solicit the post of Commandant mobile in the nine departments, situating him before General Tilly..´ Folded.
