Chumash Chok L’Yisroel published by R. Shimon Zev Ehrenreich son of the renowned R. Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Shimlau. With approbations by R. Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich (Shimlauer Rov) and R. Sholom Eliezer Halberstam of Ratzfert (son of the Divrei Chaim) both of whom mention the travails of the Holocaust.
In the midst of the Holocaust while the war was raging in most of Europe, Hungarian Jewry was still living in relative stability, to the extent that they were still able to print sefarim.
