Safra D'Tznuasa D'Yaakov. First Edition. Amsterdam 1669.
Kabbalistic commentary on the Torah by R. Yaakov Temerls, edited by his son R. Eliezer Lipman.
R. Yaakov Temerls (died Vienna 1666), was born in Worms and for most of his life resided in Poland. Known as a great Mekubal his seforim evidence a great proficiency in the Kisvei Ha’Ari. Though he is said to have left in manuscript a commentary on the entire Tanach, Bavli and Yerushalmi, Zohar, Kisvei Ha’Ari as well as a collection of halachic responsa, the Safra D’Tznuasa D’Yaakov remains the author’s only published work.
Vinograd Amsterdam 450. David de Castro Tartas press. [1], 40 pages. 18 cm. Overall good condition. Wear on the margins and corners. Elegant modern half leather binding.
