Chayei HaMussar. Novardok Yeshiva of Ostrovtsa. 20 Issues. 1936. Rare. The R. Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman Copy

The Novardok Yeshiva network was established by R. Yosef Yoizel Horowitz (1847-1919), a talmid of R. Yisroel Salanter and R. Simcha Zissel Ziv, the “Alter” of Kelm. It quickly became one of the biggest and most important network of Yeshivos in pre-war Eastern Europe and included tens of Yeshivos and thousands of students. Distinguished alumni include R. Yechezkel Abramsky, R. Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman, and the Steipler Gaon among other eminent Rabbonim.
With stamps of R. Y.Y. Ruderman and bookplate of R. S.Y. Weinberg, Roshei Yeshiva of Ner Yisroel Baltimore.
Unrecorded by Vinograd.
