Famous book of halacha on the ChoshenMishpat (third section). Rav Binyamin Wolf Lau (1773/77 – 1851) was the son of the gaon Rabbi Elazar Lau, the Shot ShemenRokach; and son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac, Av Beit Din of Ushpizin. Rabbi in Rashpitza, Amsha, Kelin (1813), Tapelchen (1827), and head of the yeshiva in Werbau (1827), Santov (1827), taking over from his father. Authored Sha’arei Torah first printed (section 1) in Vienna in 1821. Very good condition, rebound.
