Beautiful manuscript, pizmonim and prayers for a brit milah. Italy, 19th century. Rare collector’s item.

Includes rare pizmonim, prayers, and blessings for a brit milah ceremony. Block lettering, nice handwriting (very accurately done), on thick, high-quality paper. Colorful cover, decorated by hand with inscription “For Rabbi Refael Ashkenazi.” After the pizmonim, the mohel wrote handwritten notes, five important baraitot for him, edited between 1853-1858, while he notes the date of the bris, name of the baby, father, and the sandak, and the connection between the mohel and the family. In the margins of the manuscript are another five pages of handwriting with personal prayers for the mohel. Bound in handsome leather, with gold-colored inscriptions, given in an original, matching leather box. | Page cutting in blue. [1], 30 pages. 5 [7] pages (more pages are left blank).
