Handwritten letter by the gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Lipa, Yiddish.
The gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Lipa, Av Beit Din of Diandiash, was born in 1793 in Púchov to his father Rabbi Shlomo Lipa, who was av Beit Din of Szentes. Rabbi Zeev also served as Av Beit Din of Čachtice, and beginning in 1802, Av Beit Din of Dianadia. He authored Erez BaLevanon on Shas and Shulchan Aruch.
