Haggadah L'Leil Shikorim to increase the joy of Purim and to magnify it, by Tzvi Hirsch Zommerhausen of Brazil. Hamburg 1844, second edition.
Humorous haggadah full of sharp humor to the rhythm of the haggadah: " כהא חמרא דשמפניא די שתו אבהתנא בכל אתרא ואתרא...השתא הכא לשתא הבאה בביתא דמשתיא..." and "'ושאינו יודע לשתות אתה פתח לו את הפה שנאמר הרחב פיך ואמלאהו'" ["One who does not know how to drink, you open his mouth for him, as it says, 'open your mouth and I will fill it'"], "Blessed is he who keeps his wine in his cellar all year in honor of Purim, blessed is he who calculated and appointed and counts the barrels so that they are not stolen from him. Over the entire year, drinking is permissible, and on Purim drinking is required, as it says, 'and the drinking is per religion' ['והשתיה כדת'], so that he becomes drunk and sleeps, and in his dream he will see that he has much property."
Uncommon, listed in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book according to a damaged copy. One of the first humorous haggadahs brought to print.
