Portrait of the Sha"ch ztz"l [Rabbeinu Shabtai HaKohen 1622-1663]. Charcoal on paper, signed: A. Wein.
Since the portrait resembles Rabbi Chaim Deutschmann of Bohemia [1760-1836], some experts identified him with this picture. However, further analysis clarified that this was a mistake, and it is a picture of the Shach.
