Nochem - The Movement's Leaflet in German. Munich, December, 1948
Nochem - The Movement's Leaflet in German, leaflet of the Noar Chalutzi Meuchad which was active in Germany at the end of WWII. Issue no. 12, December 1948.
Most of the NaCh"M personalities participated in underground activities in the ghettoes or fought with the partisans during WWII. After the war, these youths united with the assistance of the Jewish Brigade. Some of the members of NaCh"M had previously been associated with the No"aCh movement ("Noar Chalutzi"), which had been established in Poland after the war, and some were remnants of the "Gorodniah" movement. While it was active, the movement established a training farm in Germany, whose members immigrated to the Land of Israel and applied for training on kibbutzim there. The members of the NaCh"M movement founded the kibbutzim HaOn and Nezer Hazani (which was at first called "Buchenwald").
Rare leaflet, the leaflet of this year does not appear in the National Library. Very fine condition.
