Letter by Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis to Rabbi Mordechai Buksbaum. The entire letter is in his handwriting, signed and stamped by Rabbi Bengis. Jerusalem, 1944.
In the letter, Rabbi Bengis writes that he sends documents to a person who needs to arrange citizenship.
Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis (1864-1953) was born in Lithuania and was a rabbi in Badakki, Simelinsk and Calvary. He was known for his enormous genius. In 1938 he immigrated to Jerusalem to serve as Av Beit Din of the Edah HaCharedit, and from 1949 he was appointed Av Beit Din until his death in 1953.
