Postcard to Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman zt "l by his father, and to his friend Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik - sent from Brisk to Switzerland - 1930s - very rare.
One postcard with two letters written by the important families in Brisk, the Soloveitchik family, and Steinman. [1937?]
The postcard was sent to Switzerland by Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik from his father Rabbi Yisrael Gershon Soloveitchik, and to Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman by his father Rabbi Noach Tzvi Steinman.
In the 1930s, Rabbi Steinman received an invitation to enlist in the Polish army. He decided, together with Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik, to move to Switzerland, which he visited in May 1937. Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik and Rabbi Steinman served as  Rabanim in the Yeshiva "Etz Chayim" in Montreux.
Later, they became the greatest of the generation and influenced the saving of the world of the entire Torah after the Holocaust - Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik in Zurich, who led the entire world of Torah in Europe and Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman in Eretz Yisrael. These letters were sent together to the two young men by their families who remained in Brisk.
Extremely rare!
The letter to Rabbi Moshe Soloveitchik was written by his sister Miriam Soloveitchik. Who was later killed in the Holocaust. Rabbi Moshe is the only descendant of his father's house who were all killed in the Holocaust.
On the lower part, Hagrail Steinman's father wrote to his son, "My dear son, Aharon Leib ..." in the end he signs "from me your father Noach Tzvi
