Interesting letter by the Ga'on Rabbi Baruch Dov (Ber) Leibowitz, head of the "Beit Yitzchak" Yeshiva. Kamenitz, March 1926.
A long letter, in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Baruch Ber, sent to Rabbi Avraham Noach Palei, who immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and settled in the City of Hevron. In the letter, Rabbi Baruch bows Rabbi Paley with all the blessings and with a dignified livelihood ... blessings and successes ... and we will all be blessed to see soon the salvation of Israel ... '
In the continuation of the letter, Rabbi Baruch Ber writes of the right to be a resident of the Land of Israel
Throughout the letter, Rabbi Baruch Ber's desire to immigrate to Eretz Yisroel and to be one of its inhabitants is evident. It did not happen.
Rabbi Avraham Noach Palay [1876-1932]. Otzar HaRabbanim 1327] Rosh Yeshiva in Bialosk and Shklov, later in the Hevron Yeshiva in Hevron and at the Heichal HaTalmud Yeshiva in Tel Aviv.
