A personal letter in his handwriting and signature of the Rebbe of Pittsburgh Rabbi Yosef Leifer.
The letter was sent to his brother and dealt with personal matters. The Admor mentions his son, the Admor Rabbi Avraham Abba Leifer, the "Amunat Avraham" who served as Admor.
Rabbi Yosef Leifer, founder of the Pittsburgh Hasidut, son of Rabbi Yissachar Ber of Satmar, student of Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald of Satmar. He led his Hasidut in the city of Carly, and in 1926 he moved to the United States where he led his followers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and became known as a great tzaddik and master of the Torah.
His eldest son, Rabbi Avraham Abba, survived the war with miracles. In 1948, he traveled to the United States and lived with his father for about a year and then moved to Newark where he established a Beit Midrash and opened his own community After his father's death in February 1965, he was appointed to serve as Admor in Pittsburgh. In 1969 he immigrated to Israel and established his residence in the city of Ashdod, where he established institutions of Torah and kindness.
