Letter from the Holy Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Chortkov zt "l, Bracha for Livelihood and Salvation, 1928 - Rare!
A letter from the famous Admor of Czortkow, signed by his hand, "Israel the son of Moshe David ---". Nisan 1928.
A letter of blessing and prayer for health and livelihood and success in all their work.
Rabbi Yisrael Friedman, Rebbe of Czortkow (1933 - Otzar HaRabbanim 12025) son of Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkov and son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov of Sadigura - the holy sons of Rabbeinu Yisrael of Merozin. He was one of the founders of Agudath Israel and the head of the Council of Torah Sages, and many of his followers were gdoley torah, such as the Maharam Shapira of Lublin, Maharam Arik and Rabbi Steinberg of Brady. During World War I his "chatzer" was destroyed in Tchortkov, Galicia, and he moved to Vienna.
