"The War in Europe is Over" - "The Day of Victory" - Kol Israel Issue, End of World War II, 1945.
Kol Israel newspaper issue. Jerusalem, 10/05/1945. Hebrew. Two days after the victory over the Nazi army.
The title of the newspaper 'The war in Europe is over' 'Victory Day'.
In sub-headlines, prayers and thanksgiving gatherings with rabbis of Jerusalem.
An interesting thing, in the article on the margins of the first page is a notice of the death of Rabbi Shlomo Goldman- Rabbi 'Sholomke of Zvhil.
At the beginning of 1942, when the Nazis stood at El Alamein (Egypt), Reb Sholomka, together with Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn, went to the grave of the Or Ha'Chayim to pray for the rescue of the Jews of Eretz Israel.
On the last page is an invitation by Rabbi Chaim Na'eh to the marriage of his daughter.
And a notice of the engagement of Rabbi Meir Halberstam (1927 - 2011) - the Admor of Shkava - Bnei Brak.
