On two pages of official letterhead, to Rabbi Gavrial Riklis. From 5th of Iyar 1962. Mainly a letter of blessing, but he also expounds in his poetic language on the subject of love. Interesting. | Rav Mordechai Gipter (1916-2001) was head of the Telz yeshiva in Cleveland, Ohio, a member of the Council of Torah Sages, and one of the gedolim of US Jewry. Born in the US, but he immigrated to the Telz yeshiva in Lithuania, where he studied under Rabbi Mordechai Pogramansky. In 1976 he movd to Israel and established the Telz Yeshiva in Kiryat Telz-Stone, but in 1979 he returned to the US to serve as head of the Telz yeshiva there. | Signs of folding, paper written on both sides. 20cm.
