Letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Elyashuv, the Son of the Author of the 'Leshem', to His Brother-in-Law Rabbi Avraham Elyashuv, the Rabbi of 'Tiferet Bachurim' and Father of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv [1937?]^
The letter is written in Yiddish on a postcard. The letter also refers to Mrs. Chaya Musha, Rabbi Yosef Shalom's mother and the wife of the addressee rabbi. Among others, he also refers to his daughters. He also praises Rabbi Avraham Elyashuv as being charitable.
The letter is not signed; however, its content indicates that it was written by Chaya Musha's brother, and we know that she had only one brother: Rabbi Yitzchak Elyashuv.
(Rabbi Avraham Elyashuv adopted the family name of his father-in-law, Rabbi Shlomo Elyashuv, author of the "Leshem" and one of the leading kabbalists of his generation).
