The First Book of the Ari's Doctrine according to Rabbi Chaim Vital: 'Sefer Ha'Kavanot' – First, Rare Edition which was Printed during the Lifetime of Rabbi Chaim Vital – Venice, 1620 – a Complete Copy that had Belonged to Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger
Contains Kavanot of the prayers and a booklet of customs by the Divine Kabbalist the Ari, and Kabbalistic commentary on the Ari. Venice, 1620. Prepared for printing by the Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Trinky, Shadar (emissary of the rabbis) of Safed.
The book was printed less than fifty years after the death of the Ari and it is one of the first books that introduced his holy Torah.
Ginzei Yisrael: 1081.
On the colophon at the end of the book it was printed: "The work was completed on Tuesday, the 5th of Av 1620, the same time the Rabbi… the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Vital died…"
On the title page of the book, the signature and stamp of Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger, author of 'Lev Ivri', who was known for his special library which included rare and unique books.

Condition: Good. Stains. New, impressive binding. Relatively few moth signs. Restorations in the last leaves (those of the indices).
