The Jewish Family Bible, magnificent edition. Large, impressive copy. Hebrew and English in facing columns, according to tradition, gilt page cuts, edited by Michael Friedlander with the sanction of Chief Rabbi Adler. This Tanach provided served as the basis for the Koren Tanach. [8], 1978 pages. 31x23 cm. Approximately [30] printed plates with etching by Dora. Printed in large letters. At the beginning of the book, there are [8] pages for inscribing family history: dates of births, marriages and deaths.
Original magnificent leather binding with metal corners. The front binding is disintegrated, the back binding is lacking. Short tears in a number of pages. Aside from the binding, the book is in fine condition.
