Special Vessel for Collecting Purim Money. Poland, 19th Century. Unique.
Special metal plate made for collecting Purim money, engraved: "היינט איז פורים מארגאן איז אויס גיב א זלוטי און ווארף מיר ארויס" ["Today is Purim, tomorrow it will be no longer/ Give me a zloty and throw me out."] The handle is engraved: "פורים גאלט" ("Purim Gelt"). Poland 19th century.
Description: Round plate with high edges and a handle. Width: 12 cm. Depth: 2.5 cm.
Condition: Fine. Slight dents in the bottom of the vessel.
