Album. Photographs and Portraits of Rabbis and Zionist Leaders - Poland, Early 20th Century
"Album of Zionist and Mizrachi Activists in Various Countries and in Poland." Postcards with photographs and portraits of rabbis and Zionist personalities: Binyamin Ze'ev Herzl, Chaim Weitzmann, Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Max Nordau, Nachum Sokolov, Zvi Kalisher, Shmuel Mohilever, and more. The postcards are arranged in a cardboard case which folds like a wallet. There is a star of David with a color inscription, "Zion" on the front, and the title [in Hebrew] Album of Zionist and Mizrachi Activists in Various Countries and in Poland. On the back, the parallel title appears in Yiddish and in Polish. The initials "I.T.W." appear in the margins. Most of the postcards are plate-signed "ITW."
15 cm. 23 photographs. Overall very fine condition.
