Pin of the village of the Yishuv, gift of jewelry, 1938-1989, designed by Moshe Moro.
"The ransom of the Yishuv" is the name of a fund for security needs initiated by the National Committee in the summer of 1938 following the events of 1936-1939. The fund included indirect taxes on various products and collection of donations, and was canceled upon the establishment of the state.
