A CLAY ANTHROPOMORPHIC COFFINS LID BEARING A MODELLED HUMAN FACE
Late Bronze Age, 1400 – 1200 BCE. Cut out from a larger lid, is 25.7 cm high and 20.5 cm wide. A 9 cm decorative fragment from the forehead is missing and with a minor nose damage, yet in very good condition. For similar lids see: Tallay Ornan, A Man and His Land.
