Rare letter autograph letter written and signed by both R. Chaim Ozer Grodzensky and his brother R. Tzvi Hirsch Grodzensky, to the Rav of the community of Melbourne, Australia, thanking him for the donation to the Ramailles Yeshiva in Vilna, headed by R. Tzvi Hirsch and requesting that they continue with their generous support. On the official stationary of the Ramailles Yeshiva. With warm blessings by both R. Tzvi Hirsch and R. Chaim Ozer.
The Ramailles Yeshiva (named after Rav Mailles), was one of the most prestigious Yeshivos in Lithuania following its founding in 1815 by the legendary R. Abele. R. Yisroel Salanter taught there and the Chafetz Chaim learned there for a few years. Its last Roshei Yeshiva were R. Shlomo Heinman and R. Yisroel Gutsman.
