Historical broadside signed by tens of Admorim in Poland, including R. Avrohom Mordechai Alter (Imrei Emes), R. Meir Yechiel Halstuck (Ostrovsa Gaon), R. Kalonimus Kalmish Schapiro of Piacenza (Chovas Ha’Talmidim), R. Shlomo Chanoch of Radomsk. With additional letters by R. Moshe Betzalel Alter and R. Yaakov Meir Biderman.
Kollel Polen was founded in 1796 in Poland by the Torah leaders of Polish Jewry. Led by the great Rebbes of Poland, it supported the poor in Eretz Yisroel who originated from Poland. In 1928 an internal dispute arose in Yerusholayim, concerning its leadership and distribution of funds. This broadside was released, to clarify the position of the Rebbes in Poland.
