With the inscription of R. Shimon Sidon (1815-1892), who was one of the most distinguished talmidim of the Chasam Sofer, with whom he had a particularly close relationship. He is mentioned numerous times in Teshuvos Chasam Sofer and Ksav Sofer. He served as Rav of Tirnau for 44 years. Author of Shevet Shimon and other works.
With additional signatures of R. Yaakov Meir Tzvi Friedland (niftar 1848) Rav of Shuran, who also corresponded with the Chasam Sofer. A renowned Talmid Chochom, some of his novella were published by his grandson R. Shaul Brach.
