GERMANY. Magnificent handwritten Pinkas of the community of Winnweiler. 1840.
Pinkas beautifully handwritten by a scribe for the Kehilla of Winnweiler, Germany. Including Yizkor pages for tens of Kehillos who’s Jews were murdered over a period of hundreds of years, text of various Mi Shaberachs for different occasions for the sick, Pidyon Nefesh and the Seder of Tekias Shofar with the Kavanos. Written by the scribe R. Yonah Ben Ha’Chover Chaim Ha’Cohen Sofer of Shteinbakenheim.
Winnweiler is a municipality in the Donnersbergkreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the upper course of the river Alsenz.
