Lot of two rare seforim by R. Tzvi Hirsch Grodzensky.
• Mikveh Yisroel. Chicago 1898. Lengthy halachic work dealing with the complex laws of Mikva’os. This work is considered by many bibliographers to be the first extensive halachic work published in America. With an approbation written by R. Yitzchok Elchonon Spektor a few weeks before he passed away. Goldman 580. M. Ginsburg press. [2], 14, 108, [4] pages.
• Mili D’Brochos. St Louis 1923. Novella on the first Perek of Maseches Brochos. Goldman 656. [4], 188 pages. 30 cm. Excellent condition. Antique binding.
R. Tzvi Hirsch Grodzensky (1858-1948), was among the most illustrious students of the Volozhin Yeshiva and the Kovno Kollel. In 1891, he immigrated to America and served as the Rav of Omaha, Nebraska for over 50 years. He was a cousin to the famed R. Chaim Ozer Grodzensky.
