Halachic responsa authored by R. Yosef Katzvi.
R. Yosef Katzvi (1625-1691), was a student of R. Yosef Trani. Renowned as a great Talmid Chochom and Posek, he served as Rav in various important communities most notably Constantinople. Although most of his responsa were lost in a fire, a few survived and were published under the title Rav Yosef. The sefer includes an additional section of responsa by R. Yaakov Alfandri entitled Mutzal M’Aish as well as a section of sermons by R. Yosef Katzvi.
