“Ma’amar Tzafit L’Yeshua” by Maran Chafetz Chaim. Bound together with the book Zikaron Yosef by the son-in-law of the Chafetz Chaim, Rav Aharon HaKohen—the author’s copy with glosses handwritten by hand. First edition.
1. “This article was published by my father-in-law in Israel a couple dozen years ago. But because of the censor, it was required to be attached to the journal HaPeles, which appeared then, but now it is published for the first time in Israel alone.” At the top of the cover page is the stamp of the Chafetz Chaim. Printed by Kupstick, Tel Aviv 1929. 2. Zikaron Yosef, drashot on issues of belief and the future Redemption, by Rav Aharon HaKohen, rabbi of Neve-Swintzan, son-in-law of the Chafetz Chaim. Printed by Garber, Vilna 1924. Page before the cover has a stamp of ownership of Rav Aharon HaKohen. Many glosses handwritten. 10, 4, 82 pages. 23cm. Generally good condition.
