"Em HaBanim" - Silver coin - Independence Day 1979. 31 to the state.
Israel's Declaration of Independence guarantees "full equality of social and political rights ... regardless of religion, race or gender." For the woman, the details of gender equality were formulated in special laws.
The activity of women in public life in Israel was evident in the early days of the renewed Jewish community.
They continue to influence political and social positions, as individuals or women's organizations, as activity in the management of economic institutions, in the Knesset and in the leadership of the State. Women in Israel have established wonderful institutions for the care of a child.

Reverse: The figure of a mother playing with two children, and the inscription "Em HaBanim " (Psalms 13: 9) in Hebrew and English.
Scope: "Year 31 of the State of Israel" in ancient Hebrew script, facing the face or back of the coin.
Design: A. Calderon.
Diameter: 34 mm.
