Midrash Vayikra Rabbah, Sifri Bamidbar and Devarim - Vatican Manuscript 32, Limited Edition Facsimile
Midrash Vayikra Rabbah, Sifri Bamidbar and Devarim, Vatican manuscript 32, published in a limited edition facsimile of 160 copies. Makkor publishing, Jerusalem, 1971.
Paleographers believe that this manuscript is from the tenth century, one of the earliest extant complete Hebrew manuscripts. According to Rabbi A. A. HaLevi Finkelstein and Rabbi M. Margoliot, this is the most important manuscript of the Sifri. It includes a piyyut for Grace after Meals and a responsum by Rabbi Paltoi Gaon regarding a Torah Scroll.
31 cm. Magnificent half-leather binding. Brown page cuts. Very fine condition.
