Mishna Brura, Part 3, First Edition - with the Inscription "Mugah" (Proofread) in the Handwriting of the Chafetz Chaim 1891.
The author used to check the books after they were printed, and to write "Mugah" that the book is free of errors.

On the page before the title page is the inscription "Mogah" in pen.
The Chofetz Chaim would make sure to check every book that was for sale for printing errors, for fear of theft and fraud. Each book that was examined received a handwritten inscription on the cover pages of the book "Mugah". [He would make sure to write it down himself, for fear that others might write "Mugah" without sufficient examination]. Many of these drawings have disappeared over the years due to the re-binding of the books or the deletion of the inscription.
Condition: Very good, rear cover and last page detached. Several wrinkles and stains.
