A letter from Rabbi Ephraim David Halberstam discussing his difficult financial situation and his attempts at finding a rabbinical position in the area of Krakow.
Rabbi Ephraim David Halberstam (1896 - 1941) was the son of Rabbi Yechiel Nosson of Bardiov and son-in-law of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak. He served as Av Beis Din of Yashliska and Mishlenitz and was murdered in the Holocaust along with his wife and nine children.
