Invitation to the Wedding of Rabbi Chana Halberstam of Kolshitz's Son, 1931

An invitation from Rabbi Chana Halberstam, Av Beis Din of Kolshitz, to the wedding of his son Rabbi Baruch Halberstam with Sosha bas Rabbi Chaim Baruch Rubin of Vizhnitz. The wedding took place in Vizhnitz, 1931.

The invitation was printed in Risha, the place where Rabbi Chana had established his court following World War I. Interestingly, in the book of the Admor of Sanz there is a photo of an invitation to this wedding that is slightly different than this one and printed by a different press.
There is a handwritten letter on the folded paper from Rabbi Simcha Fuderveitle, head of the Zerah Kodesh Yeshivah of Risha, regarding the wedding expenses.
Rabbi Baruch Halberstam was killed in the holocaust along with his wife and two daughters.
22 x 14 cm | Folded in half
