Leo Lesser Ury (1861-1931) was a German-Jewish Impressionist artist associated with the Düsseldorf School of Art. Somewhat reclusive Ury’s paintings are noted for their melancholic nature. He died in Berlin and is buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Weissensee.
